2006 Week 13 Superbowl Prediction

In what will be an annual tradition, here's the first of my yearly week thirteen NFL Superbowl team predictions:

San Diego Chargers (currently 11-2) vs. New Orleans Saints (currently 9-4)

San Diego will win in a barn-burner, 41-35, with who else but LaDainian Tomlinson raising the MVP trophy on the podium.

Some would say it's not such a big deal to wait till week thirteen to make such a prediction, but consider that one team hasn't clinched a berth at this point, anything can happen in the playoffs. and injuries are always a possibility.

Right or wrong, I actually can't wait to post my results after the final whistle of Super Bowl XLI (41), on Feb. 4, 2007.
