The Next Big Thing: Rooftop Advertisements?
Here's an article that suggests businesses of all sizes would do themselves a favor by making sure the roofs of their buildings have some sort of pronounced and distinguishable advertising on them, so as to be visible by the current and future millions of potential customers who make regular virtual "flyovers" via Google Maps.
This is a great idea. Eventually Google could even put out some sort of spec. for allowing them to recognize the ads and make them clickable.
